After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

Three things to do before you hit publish:

  1. Confirm the effective date — I've put 1 June 2025. Change it to whatever date you actually go live.

  2. Cookie banner — The policy references cookie consent. You need an actual cookie consent banner on the site, otherwise this section is dead weight.

  3. Unsubscribe + STOP mechanism — Make sure both are live before publishing. The policy commits you to it.
